Though the largest municipality in Harford County, Aberdeen’s neighborhoods still yield the small town feel that Harford County residents cherish. However, there’s more to this town than its impressive size. Aberdeen has a thriving business center that includes large technology companies and Aberdeen Proving Ground (the US Army’s foremost technology center), plenty of retail stores, tourist and leisure activities (such as Cal Ripken Stadium), an advanced education center (the University Center of Northeastern MD which offers undergraduate and graduate education opportunities), and an interesting variety of restaurants.
