There’s just enough industry to resonate a 9-5 feel, but not so much as to feel as though you’re in a small city. This 2.4 square mile suburb nestled by the water is inviting and friendly.  Riverside contains multiple industrial parks, including a major industrial park that houses large corporations, such as Northrop Grumman, Booz Allen Hamilton and SafeNet.

Belcamp has plenty of shops and restaurants. Boulevard Bistro is a family-owned restaurant, owned by trained culinary chefs Mike & Judie Sussan, that serves up fresh and delicious American fare. Ruby Tuesday’s is another local option.  For great pizza and entrees, sidle on over to Riverside Pizzeria, which also caters.  A full range of popular fast food restaurants await you when you want something quick and delicious on the go, such as Arby’s, Waffle House, McDonald’s and Pizza Hut just to name a few.

There are seasonal and year-round activities for children and young-at-heart adults alike.   For some general outdoor fitness fun, Belcamp Park and Ball Fields offers plenty of room for outdoor recreational activity.  The Belcamp Recreational Council, a volunteer group, meets quarterly and helps provide recreational services for kids and adults in the Belcamp area.  Various leagues are available for all ages, such as basketball, cheerleading, T-ball (for ages 4-6 years), soccer, swimming and more.

If you’re looking for a fun destination to keep kids delighted and entertained during the summer months, Kiddie Crusoe – who’s slogan is ‘Every Day is an Adventure’ – fits the bill.  It’s a summer camp for kids aged potty-trained thru 12 where half-day, full-day or week long adventurous activities wait to connect with imagination (such as crafts, games, free play time, face-painting and visits by characters and animals).  Water activities offer still more options, for kids and grown ups.  Belcamp is a town of options, in both it's commercial and residential aspects, and is another great place in lovely Harford County to call home.
